Angelica Maria Vale Hartman, also known in the media as Angelica Vale, is a Mexican-American singer, actress, comic and radio host. She is known also being the child of Angelica Maria La Novia de Mexico and as the daughter of comic Raul Vale. The singer is believed to have launched La Balada Ranchera, a music genre that reached the top of charts in 1973 and led Angelica Maria to become the first Latin artist to have sold 2 million albums in the United States. The year 1974 was the time she fell in love with Venezuelan comic and performer Raul Vale who she wed in April of 1975. It was the first marriage to be televised in Mexico.
