Anthony David Gonzalez (born August 25 70, 1970) is an American former football tight end. Gonzalez played for the National Football League from 1997 through 2003. One of the best football tight ends, Anthony David Gonzalez is also the NFL leader of receiving yards for tight ends, and is third in total receptions.
Tony Gonzalez is currently a FOX studio analyst for the studio. Since the start of the 2017 NFL season began, Gonzalez has been an integral part for FOX NFL KICKOFF, FOX's hour-long NFL pregame program that precedes FOX NFL SUNDAY, airing every Sunday morning at 11:00 am ET throughout the NFL season.
Gonzalez's claim to be retiring from the NFL following 2013 is not the case. On March 15 2013 Gonzalez was signed by the Falcons an agreement for two years worth $14 million. Randy Moss retired in 2013 in 2013, and Gonzalez aged 37 at the time completed the year that ended his career in the position of being the NFL leading receiver yards.
