Anthony David Gonzalez was a tight end from American football that played in the National Football League. He was a 17-year veteran on the field. One of the NFL's most successful tight ends and third-best overall receiver, he's been ranked as the NFL's leading tight end in terms of yards received, receptions achieved, and so on.
Tony Gonzalez serves as a FOX sports studio analyst. Gonzalez has appeared on FOX NFL KICKOFF (FOX's one-hour NFL pregame broadcast prior to FOX NFL SUNRISE) and is broadcast each Sunday at 11:00 AM ET throughout the NFL season.
On March 15, 2013, Gonzalez agreed to re-sign with the Falcons to a two-year, 14 million-dollar contract despite claiming that Gonzalez would retire at the end of 2013. With the retirement of Randy Moss, 37-year-old Gonzalez spent his last season as the league's top player in yards receptive.
